Under the heading of rubber and rubber product known trees grouped in the genus Hevea, family Euphorbiaceae; of genres best known are H. Minor, H bentamiana, H. Rigidifolia, and in places farther from the Guianas are the H. Giannensis and H. Lutea.

Harvesting in natural rubber forests becomes more difficult for the rubber plantations where the plants are planted in rows or technically trails, in selected locations according to soil conditions the plant requires. At present the vast Amazonian rubber trees are lost without being exploited, despite being imported thousands of tons of natural rubber a year, nearly a billion and Bs, excluding the import of synthetic rubber and other products.

If we were to produce our natural rubber plantations in one tenth of the product being imported, could win an important battle for development. Simultaneously you can go planting, growing more technical and streamlined to increase and improve the quality of future productions, which would become much economic performance. Many years have been lost in hesitation for the magnificent project developed by CODESUR, losing too costly studies and experiments with seeds imported, carefully selected rubber. The major project is due to Mr. Alfredo Lezama.
