humboldt expedition This program is a fascinating and long expedition through the Amazon, where visitors follow the route taken by the famous German naturalist Alexander von Humboldt in the early Cro. This scientist devoted 16 months to explore the wildlife, vegetation and ethnic groups inhabiting the trip región.Este the visitor enters Casiquiare Arm, the most important part of the exploration of Humboldt. The name of this famous explorer is always associated with the name of Casiquiare. This program will take the traveler to a beautiful place called Snake inhabited by a community of ethnic Yekwana, and the mouth of the Orinoco River Cunucunuma. He will also visit the town of Emerald and spend the night in hammocks with mosquito nets, along with local indigenous guides.
